7th August 2024 - Cartmel Agriculural Show is the largest agricultutural show I will cover as a photographer single-handledly. 
To achieve full show coverage, I was on site from 6.30am through to 4.30pm - only stopping once for a quick bit to eat. 

WHAT A SHOW! ...In the heart of Cartmel on Cartmel Race course, this show certainly has prospects to grow into a larger show to. 2024, boasted a much larger number of cattle than previous years and the quality of the diary stock being some of the best in the UK! The beef examples were also fantastic examples and local farmers presenting a variety of breeds. Phil Halhead of Norbreck Genetics talked the audience through the livestock with some useful educational information along the way. Sheep enteries never fail to amaze me a Cartmel Show, once again with a strong variety of breeds giving visitors more than enough to look at. Horses and heavy horses, always seem to sit well on this race course as it is a well equipt location for all equine goings on. 

The 'field to folk' demonstation by the social media famous Olly Harrison, was not only educational for all, but eye catching and entertaining. The horticultural tent was thiving with talented items of craft, carpentry, and cooking, just another place no to miss during the show day. Not to mention the Cumberland wrestling, dog shows, bouncy castles and much more.

Cartmel Show ground is a wonderful set up, ample parking, a huge array of stalls, catering, and always plenty going on. It is a full family day out.
