Hawkshead show 2024, it went ahead despite a wind and very wet weather outlook.
Rather moist underfoot, those attending had challanges getting on and off the showground. Nevertheless, everyone dug deep and the show was a success. There were a couple of heavy showers during the day, but generally it was a dry day. 
Very much a craic on and do approach in true Cumbrian fashion, after all, if we didn't do anything when it rained in the Lake District, we'd never do anything - haha!
Over 80 stalls, sheep, equine, fell race, dog shows, horticultuaral, catering and plenty for the children to do too. 
This show in the heart of the Lake District is certainly one to get yourself to.
